Mission
Healing with Horseplay is an animal protection and welfare organization that rescues animals, primarily horses, that are abused, neglected or to be sent to slaughter and then rehabilitates them. After training them they will find private owners with happy homes for the animals, lent to other non-profits specializing in equine assisted learning or they will become part of the equine-assisted learning programs helping underprivileged children or veterans.

HWH initiated its Equine Assisted Learning program, TRIBE in 2024 to engage disadvantaged children. HWH ran several programs during the summer reaching over two dozen children.
The HWH Corporate program was initiated in 2024 to utilize the horses to help corporate partners with team building and demonstrating team dynamics and improve team members' EQ.
Money was raised to winterize the barn for the baby mustangs who were particularly susceptible to Minnesota's winters.
