Workforce development program -in 2024, hcc launched a new workforce development program and expanded its alumni services program. Funded by a five-year grant from the california endowment, the workforce development program empowers regional collaboratives to advance collective solutions that address growing workforce challenges and expand health career and economic opportunity for area residents. The program also promotes cross-regional collaboration and statewide systems and policy change that advance a robust, sustainable and skilled workforce for the health sector that meets the health needs of california communities.the expanded alumni services program is dedicated to supporting hcc alumni as they advance their careers and continue making a profound impact on the health and wellbeing of communities. Through the alumni services group, hcc offers: - career advancement and mentorship; - networking opportunities; - skills building and professional development; and - job opportunities and career resources.whether hcc alumni are entering graduate school, stepping into their first health industry role, or building on their existing expertise, hcc provides the tools, resources, and connections to help them thrive.
