To provide equal food access for low and moderate-income food-insecure individuals and communities through urban farming and wellness programs. Health in the hood connects our most underserved communities to more nutritious food and healthier happier lives. We envision a world with less illness and equal food access for all.

Urban gardens program-we transform vacant land in food desert neighborhoods into vibrant vegetable gardens. Our urban gardening model creates sustainable resilient neighborhoods while providing free healthy produce and empowering residents to live healthier lives.
Wellness program- our vegetable gardens become living classrooms and our wellness classes encourage participants to adopt lifestyle habits that directly impact their health and longevity.
