Health Star Initiative

Education for surgical technologist apprenticeship. The Health STAR Initiative is forming an apprenticeship program for surgical technologists in Oregon. We appointed board members and founded the clinical program committee, which will help develop curriculum with physicians, nurses, certified techs and ASC administrators. The goal is to facilitate education for surgical technologists, and to assist in addressing the workforce shortage of certified surgical technologists.
