Heart Attack Ethiopia Inc. ("HAE") is a nonprofit organization founded by two Ethiopian-American physicians that are dedicated to combating the alarming increase in the premature death rates resulting from heart attacks and strokes in Ethiopia and other African countries. With a mission to save lives and improve cardiovascular health, we are committed to making a lasting impact on the communities we serve. We aspire to inspire and catalyze positive changes focused on cardiovascular health and timely care delivery throughout Africa. We are paving the way for a healthier Ethiopia by saving one heart at a time and leaving no heart behind.
Programs

In February 2024, HAE successfully conducted its first lifesaving mission in collaboration with the Children's Heart Fund of Ethiopia (CHFE), performing 32 advanced cardiovascular. Six volunteer clinicians participated in the mission and were instrumental in its success.
Funds were used to support planning activities for Mission #3 scheduled in February of 2025.
