It exists because of the clear christian mandate to minister to the physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional needs of in-crisis, low income people of barbour county and its immediate surrounding areas.

Housing program: the goal of the program is to improve living conditions of low-income families in barbour county, wv by completing home repair projects and constructing new homes.
