The heart of texas foundation college of ministry takes the gospel of jesus christ into the darkest of places in the texas prison system through our bachelor degree program, which educates men and women with long-term prison sentences. Graduates of the heart of texas foundation college of ministry are allowed to serve their peers as field ministers throughout the texas prison system.

Fully operational seminary at hobby unit
Field ministry resources : the heart of texas foundation supports the graduates of the prison seminary programs called field ministers by supplying the teams of four or more with a hand-delivered "field ministry kit" which includes a theological library, computers, printers, counseling booklets, and other ministry resources, as well as, continued advocacy and support with tdcj and local churches where field ministry teams are located and the facilitation of cross-training of veteran field ministers with new field ministers.
