Our mission at Heart of the Wild Equine Rescue, a non-profit organization with a 501(c)(3) approval, is to advocate for the humane treatment, protection, and preservation of America's wild Mustangs. We are dedicated to rescuing Mustangs who have tragically landed in kill pens, providing them with the safety, care, and rehabilitation they need before placing them in loving, forever homes.
