Heart To Heart Pregnancy Center

Medical program: medical and counseling clients are seen by heart to heart's registered nursing staff. The goal of the program is to educate and to assist the client in making an informed decision about her pregnancy options. Clients are encouraged to share their story with the nurse as a neutral and confidential party. Nurses provide a wealth of knowledge regarding pregnancy options, contact information for resources in the community, as well as referrals to ob-gyn doctors for ongoing pre-natal care. Nurses offer basic prenatal teaching as well as free prenatal vitamins. Clients who are undecided regarding their pregnancy outcome are encouraged to work through a decision guide with the nurse. Ultrasounds are offered for women to see how far along they are in their pregnancy, determine if the pregnancy is viable and provide an opportunity to bond with their baby in utero, all free of charge.

Relationship education program: the overcomers program is run both in and out of the office. Once a month, the overcomers director meets with students at the middle school for a round table discussion regarding leadership and relationships. During the summer, classes are offered for 4th to 6th grades. In the four day course, students are taught age appropriate lessons on health, relationships, leadership and abstinence.
