Mission
Heartbound ministries breaks generational cycles of crime and incarceration by providing purposeful programming to the prison community so that incarcerated people return to their families and communities as transformed individuals.
Programs
3 programs
Project art (art to rehabilitate and teach): uses art lessons to teach character and build positive relationships between incarcerated youth and instructors who provide mentoring and spiritual guidance. As youth learn the benefits of character qualities such as patience, integrity, compassion and self-control, they gain the desire to stay out of prison and live a crime-free life when they return to the community.
Seminary program: heartbound established and funds the first and only women's prison seminary in georgia. The nathan and sandra deal extension of nobt seminary is housed at whitworth facility in hartwell, ga.
