Heavens Windows maintains a food bank to aide families, seniors, immigrants, homeless individuals and children by providing emergency food packages, childrens meal program, congregate hot meals, a produce redistribution hub, a senior commodities distribution site, a diaper bank, a senior job training site, and free community events.
Summer Food Service Program (SFSP): SFSP provides meals and snacks to give a nutritional boost to children, under 18, in areas where there are 50% or more of children eligible for free or reduced school lunch. During the summer months when school is not in session, the SFSP provides meals at community sites where children congregate. Our sites consist of but are not limited to: community centers, public libraries, recreation centers, churches, preschools, and educational centers and apartment complexes.
