Help asheville bears' purpose is to promote the preservation, protection and conservation of bears for the dedicated use and enjoyment of the public.

Advocate for the safety of bears in our community, collecting and directing information on poachers and injured bears and reporting to the appropriate authorities. Maintains tip hotline about injured bears and illegal traps set. Organizes investigative teams to handle tips about poaching and injured bears. Provide rewards to individuals who provide inforation on traps being set and poaching.
