Mission

Help one now exists to change that reality in the communities we serve. Our mission is to empower families in developing countries through entrepreneurship, education, and restorative care.

Programs

3 programs

Entrepreneurship: the help one now family business program is a collaborative program designed to end generational poverty by equipping families to achieve long-term financial independence, and to become active contributors to the growth and stability of their community. This program guides families through a 7-step process leading to a successful small business. Long term mentorship and individualized support build on the strengths, motivation and passion of each family, making them more likely to take ownership of their own success and actively participate in solving problems as they occur. This creates financial independence, encourages them to re-invest in the growth of their business and ultimately contributes to the sustainability of additional families through employment and economic contribution. Repeated on a large scale in multiple communities, we see widespread increase in community resilience, economic stability and spiritual health. Our entrepreneurship initiative is rooted in our partnerships with local leaders and the local church. To date, we have empowered over 1,600 families in 12 different communities, with an average increased income of 400-500% and many of these families now have years of self-sufficiency under their belt.

Community care: community care encompasses many different things, including clean water; access to medical care; food security; trafficking awareness, prevention and care; trauma-informed care and counseling; transitional care, reunification and local adoption; spiritual development, church planting and discipleship; emergency relief, and more. In communities where extreme poverty exists, under-resourced systems often fall short in caring for the most vulnerable. Children without adequate parental care experience neglect, trauma and exploitation while a lack of community resources leads to the basic needs of many going unmet. Help one now provides 24/7 holistic care to children rescued from or vulnerable to trafficking and provides resources that meet the basic needs of individuals living in extreme poverty but more than this our programs focus on caring for the whole person. Help one now staff walk alongside individuals and families, resourcing them with the tools needed to heal spiritually and emotionally restoring the belief that their lives have value and that they are capable of success. Our community care initiative is rooted in our partnerships with local leaders and the local church. In 2024, we supported 331 children with 24/7 holistic care, and over 60,000 individuals in various forms of physical, mental and spiritual restoration.
