Helping Restore Ability is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit corporation that employs, trains, and monitors personal attendant care providers for people of all ages with any type of disability. Through our program services, Helping Restore Ability educates, advocates, enriches, and enables the lives of individuals who otherwise may be confined to nursing homes. Helping Restore Ability envisions a future in which no Texan with a disability lacks the resources they need to live a full and independent life.

Star Kids - A managed care program. The program serves children and young adults ages 20 and younger with disabilities. Personal care assistance is provided to chidlren with various disabilities in the state of Texas, who are assisted with non-medical personal care (bathing, dressing, feeding) and homemaker tasks (such as laundry, light housekeeping and grocery shopping). 213,143 annual hours of service provided; average number of clients served per month- 142.

Star Plus - A managed care program for adults. Personal care assistance is provided to adults with various disabilities in the state of Texas who are assisted with non-medical personal care (bathing, dressing, feeding) and homemaker tasks (such as laundry, light housekeeping and grocery shopping). 457,073 annual hours of services provided; average number of clients served per month- 266.
