To be the leading nonprofit professional society in north america dedicated to research, mentoring, workforce development, and continuing medical education for physicians, investigators, and allied health professionals interested in advancing care for people with hemostatic and thrombotic disorders.

Education: the htrs symposium planning committee worked throughout 2024 to plan and execute the htrs 2025 scientific symposium to be held march 13-15, 2025, in san diego, ca. Similarly, the htrs research colloquium planning committee worked throughout 2024 to plan this 1.5-day workshop to be held as a pre-conference prior to the 2025 symposium. Htrs also offered the following in-person educational programs in 2024: two (2) 1.5-day htrs trainee workshops for medical residents and fellows considering careers in hemostasis and thrombosis; two (2) in-person roundtable events held during the 2024 thsna summit focused on grant writing and career development for members of the htrs clinical fellows network and htrs junior faculty network, conecctor; and four (4) fellows network case exchange series webinars.networking and mentoring: htrs offered several events in 2024 in association with national meetings to provide opportunities for member networking and mentoring, including two (2) "htrs best of" events exploring abstracts submitted to the larger meetings by htrs members; two (2) htrs member mixers; several "speed networking" events to connect trainees with junior faculty mentors, and an in-person, 1.5-day search workshop for 30 undergraduate, medical, and doctoral students interested in exploring academic research careers in hemostasis held in milwaukee, wi in october 2024
