To enrich the community with live symphonic performances and intrumental music education for youths and adults.

In addition to providing live symphonic perfromances, the symphony makes significant contributions to the community by creating jobs, earning income through ticket sales and fundraising events, and stimulating the local economy through tourism and local consumption. The hendersonville symphony orchestra contributes to the region's culture, children, economy and community vitality. Annually over 10,000 participate in symphony concerts and youth education programming.
