Hunger award - this award was created to honor the people of ireland who survived the great hunger and initiated the irish diaspora, those who were forced to flee ireland, in our case to north america, to survive the starvation and disease.
Irish way & study abroad - awards to students who are going to study abroad in ireland
Pro-life program - provides news, education and advocacy for life from conception until natural death according to the teachings of the catholic church and holy bible.
Catastrophic disaster relief - this award is to an individual(s) and/or organiztions who were in need of financial assistance due to hurricanes, tornados, flooding, storm damage and other acts of god.
Irish national history - to provide students with opportunities to learn historical content and develop research skills through the study of history. The mission is to advance the knowledge of irish history by inspiring projects on irish and irish american topics within an annually assigned theme and to award prizes to winning entries selected by a panel of aoh adjudicators.
Young ambassador program - this program is run by the saint patrick centre in county down, ireland to create a network of informed and influential young individuals throughout america with specialist knowledge and links to the northern part of ireland. It has been running for 17 years and hosts young people from all over america and matches them with work placements and experiences which will enhance their future career.
