Programs
1 program
The coaches & professionals program aims to empower coaches and mental health professionals through emphasis on education, culture, and access to resources and professional development opportunities focused on fostering support for the mental health of all members of the athletic community. This program is applicable to athletic trainers, strength coaches, athletic administrators, and more. The program covers a variety of topics, helping coaches and professionals become better support systems for their athletes, while also learning how to prioritize their own mental health and self-care. This program is meant to support coaches as a professional development tool and aid in creating conversations about healthy coaching. In a recent survey of our coaches & professionals community, respondents identified time and cost as their largest barriers to seeking this type of professional development. Our various workshop offerings this year were completely free of charge. We hosted panels and networking opportunities for these professionals, as well as created a linkedin community for folks to discuss relevant topics and connect with one another.
