Combating the public health problem of swimmer's itch for the benefit of the public in higgins lake, a public lake in michigan.

Hlsio again worked with the coalition of michigan lakes to fight swimmer's itch. The misip appropriation of 250,000 was used for scientific research and offsetting lake association costs for controlling the incidence of si cases. For 2019 8,500 was paid to scientific firms by state allocations for such relocation work.
Hlsio once again hired a licensed trap and relocation firm to relocate the canada goose from higgins lake.
