The corporation is designed to encourage, promote, aid and effect the voluntary interchange of data, information, experience, ideas and knowledge about methods, processes, and techniques relating to investigations and security in advanced technologies among its members.

The training was directed to servicing the needs of local chapter members, including law enforcement and industry members. Chapters conduct regular monthly meetings to conduct training and other educational seminars.
