Mission

Hikmah serves the growth of knowledge, well-being, and leadership potential within undeserved communities. We work to advocate, educate, and empower individuals to improve their career goals, encourage self-reliance, and envision a better future. Hikmah's Youth Enrichment Program (YEP) is intended to close the opportunity gap for Somali-American students. Our program has a 2 licensed teachers and 3+ volunteers that work with our students. We aim to support our students in core subjects such as reading and math to help them be at or above their grade-level standards. Our program serves students ages 4 through college aged. Hikmah operates year round for 3 days per week for 3 hours.
