Programs

Support groups - hfc's online support groups are free and designed to help family members and caregivers who have a loved one with alzheimer's or related dementia. Groups are led by credentialized facilitators and trained group leaders who have experience supporting alzheimer's caregivers. Most groups meet weekly and they're designed to fit within the caregiver's busy lives. Hfc's online support groups experienced significant and intentional growth between 2019 and 2022.
Documentary - taking care is a documentary that follows seth rogen and lauren miller rogen as they navigate lauren's morther's early onset alzheimer's disease. Their experience inspired the couple to found hfc, and an educational impact campaign accompanied the film's launch and public screenings to raise awareness and drive change.
Caregiver wellness - hfc provides free, educational, interactive, and informative online events throughout the year to support unpaid alzheimer's family caregivers. These virtual events include our carecon, caretertainment, and wellness workshops that cover a range of topics to support caregivers who provide care to a loved one with alzheimer's. All program workshops are designed to educate, inspire, and empower caregivers with the tools they need to be emotionally and physically prepared for the caregiving journey. Youth movement against alzheimer's - ymaa empowers high school and college students to change the trajectory of alzheimer's disease through education, awareness, and collective action. Our aim is to reduce the stigma associated with alzheimer's disease and dementia by promoting disease education, providing opportunities to connect and support those affected by the disease, and inspire a generation of youth to take action to protect their own brain health by learning about and practicing brain healthy habits. Hfcuniverse - hfcu is an innovative learning platform that empowers high school and college students to take action in the fight against alzheimer's. Through hfc's engaging video coursework, students gain essential knowledge about how alzheimer's and dementia affect the brain, the lifestyle choices that can lower risk, and the brain healthy habits that promote lifelong cognitive wellness. By educating the next generation, hfcu helps build a movement of informed young people who are prepared to champion prevention and change the future of brain health. Research, education & culture change - hilarity for charity takes a new approach to fighting alzheimer's disease. Combining education and entertainment, hfc works to educate young people about brain healthy habits and create the next generation of alzheimer's advocates.
