Mission
Improve risk awareness, promote safety and cultivate fire-resilient communities through property owner education, effective mitigation measures and sustained community involvement. To save lives and properties by implementing effective strategies, fostering strong partnerships and empowering residents to create fire-adapted landscapes which serve to mitigate loss and increase likelihood of surviving a wildfire incident.

Property Risk Assessments: Provides residents with onsite evaluations that identify vulnerabilities to wildfire around homes and structures. Trained assessors review vegetation, access, building materials and surrounding conditions to offer clear, practical recommendations for reducing risk. These assessments will help homeowners understand their current level of risk and prioritize steps that strengthen safety, resilience and compliance with best-practice wildfire mitigation standards.
Roadside Defensible Space: Focuses on reducing wildfire hazards along roadways to improve evacuation safety and support firefighter access and safety.
