Mission

To give students experience in and exposure to a community of friends and mentors in a jewish culture that explores life, locates meaning, and develops a sense of purpose.

Programs

3 programs

Social work and wellness programming: our social work programming includes having a full time social worker on our team working as case manager and supporting social work graduate interns, overseeing our mental health and wellness funding and programs, food insecurity support, and even groceries for our students. This programming encompasses much of what we do, ensuring that our students' maslows hierarchy of needs are met while they participate in and co-create jewish community on campus.

Expenses: $136K

Not shabbat shabbat (holiday programming): because most of our students are commuters and many keep shabbat and holidays traditionally, they are unable to celebrate shabbat traditionally together. We host not shabbat on campus on thursdays, instead of the traditional fridays, as an opportunity to create a festive atmosphere and meal for students to co-create the holiday, and learn about the diversity of ways in which students can celebrate shabbat.
