Hip Pocket Theatre, as both experimental playhouse and environmental visual installation, has a long-standing outreach program comprising community based events and enriching healing arts programming. It is dedicated to bringing guest artists from around the globe and throughout Fort Worth to collaborate on projects each season.

The outreach portion of Hip Pocket's program, was again fulfilled by the Twilight Soiree Puppet Pageant, a two-week series of workshops, led by New York-based, international puppet artists Erin Orr and Chris Green, culminating in 3 nights of performances which was open to the community free of charge, with the impetus on encouraging families community-wide to gather to learn the art of creating and performing with puppets, large and small, building commonalities with other puppeteers.
