To provide the minnesota latino community with the ability to create and control information about itself in order to affect institutional decisions and public policy.

Outreach: hacer partnered with the minnesota department of health, in continuation of bringing health related access to services statewide, with emphasis in bringing covid and flu vaccines, while offering information on different resources available for this community. Hacer also partnered with the minnesota department of human services in organizing events to inform communities about the tax session, and what the state offers to resident families in tax return. Hacer continued organizing events to inform about a variety of topics, including new legislative initiatives that could impact the community's access to different services, such as drivers licenses and more.

Expenses: $597K

Evaluation: projects focused on supporting other organizations in evaluating their programs, hacer completed an evaluation program with ramsey county, towards their food security program, and provided of an assessment of needs that diverse communities have, while living in the county, with the analysis of focus groups as approach to gather information; we partnered with the minnesota department of health in evaluating the perception that the advancing health equity report, after ten years from the time in which this report was presented, using and facilitating focus groups along the state, and involving different community serving organizations, including current and former grantees from mdh; hacer partnered with urban ventures, in evaluating their me and my baby program.

Leadership: hacer organized a program in collaboration with minnesota state university, campus mankato, named entrepreneurs of tomorrow academy, which focuses on offering information and connections for high school students with latino heritage, who learned about different opportunities they could take advantage of in their future careers. We invited different latino leaders in the state to motivate our participants in the workshops, underlining the opportunities to develop new businesses and how they could work on business plans.
