Leadership & educationhacr's latina empow(h)er summit ("les") convenes latina executives from fortune 500 companies for a unique opportunity to develop their leadership and managerial skills through a series of curated workshops and discussions. Content is designed with an intersectional lens, aiming to give visibility to the unique and shared experiences within leadership positions for individuals who identify as female and latina. Attendees are also encouraged to explore self-care priorities through wellness-focused activities. Hacr's 2024 les was hosted in dallas for an in person audience from march 11-14.hacr's executive programs ("ep") - ep is an educational offering combining hacr's corporate executive forum and corporate directors forum conferences. The consolidation of these two conferences was a programmatic readjustment responding to the 2020 global pandemic. The redesigned convening offers educational leadership development sessions presented by ceos, corporate board directors, diversity and inclusion professionals, and hispanic executives. They share their own experiences working in corporate america, reveal how one can position oneself for success, and discuss best practices related to hispanic inclusion and executive leadership. Hacr's 2024 ep was hosted in atlanta on june 10-12 for an in-person audience.the hacr leadership pipeline program ("lpp") was created to provide fortune 500 companies a forum to develop mid and upper-level hispanic executives. This program expands opportunities for high-potential talent to network and develop leadership and managerial skills to take them to the next level and positively impact their respective companies. Hacr's 2024 lpp was hosted in texas on october 28-30 for a hybrid (in-person and virtual) audience.the hacr young hispanic corporate achievers program ("yhca") recognizes young executives in corporate america who have shown leadership qualities at their respective companies along with a proven commitment to the hispanic community. Yhca is a nomination-based program for young professionals who identify as hispanic, between the ages of 25 and 40, and working for fortune 500 and/or hacr corporate member companies. Participants complete an intensive, two-month leadership development, education, and training curriculum with virtual and in-person components. The 2024 hacr yhca cohort was hosted from march 2024 to june 2024.hacr's advancing latino leadership ("all") program is a custom designed offering that delivers a career advancement experience focused on the leadership capabilities, knowledge, tools, resources, mindset and the skills needed to advance at a specific company. It also aligns content and curriculum with the diversity, equity and inclusion goals and objectives of the company. The program is designed to spotlight leadership experiences and perspectives of executives who identify as hispanic, and uses data, trends and examples of leadership best practices through an affinity-based lens. This program is offered on-demand, primarily through virtual content delivery, throughout the year.hacr's learning and development offerings, launched in 2021, focus on creating educational and affinity-based interactive workshops for corporate leadership teams and individual employees centered around diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. All content addresses the latinx experience or context for the topic addressed.
Membershipin 2024 hacr had approximately 97 corporate members. There were three classifications of membership: vanguardia member with annual dues of $50,000. Generations member with annual dues of $30,000, and associate member with annual dues of $20,000. Hacr provides a platform for its members to discuss and identify effective strategies, models, tools and data for achieving greater inclusion and participation of hispanics in the areas of employment, procurement, philanthropy, and governance.
Other program services the hacr inclusion gala launched in 2023. It is an event intended to honor outstanding individuals and companies who have demonstrated excellence in promoting the power of hispanic inclusion in corporate america through their sustained dedication. In 2023, hacr named honorees in the following categories: director of the year, inclusion champion of the year, executive of the year, and corporation of the year. The hacr inclusion gala took place on oct. 15, 2024, in new york, ny with an in-person audience.hacr conducts and publishes independent research on issues impacting the hispanic community in the united states and puerto rico. It's hacr corporate inclusion index ("cii") is its longest standing research study measuring trends and changes in hispanic inclusion in fortune 500 companies. The study's results are published annually in the cii report, which features the findings of hispanic inclusion across corporate america. The survey results are a crucial part of hacr's accountability strategy, allowing for the evaluation of corporations' practices in four areas of social and economic reciprocity: employment, procurement, philanthropy, and governance. Hacr may also conduct research on a variety of other topics deemed appropriate and relevant to understanding that state of hispanic inclusion in corporate america.
