Warwick Savings Foundation financial support has been significant in advancing the mission of the Historical Society of the Town of Warwick to preserve, share and celebrate the history of the Town of Warwick. Important upgrades have been made to the society's internet and security system in the Archive, vastly improving their ability to save and share historical information about the village. The grant has also enabled the Society to continue creating the infrastructure and collateral of their self-guided walking tour. The impact of the grant extends beyond technological improvements. It has strengthened the organization's community outreach and relationships, generating increased interest in and support for their mission among residents and business owners in town.

UNRESTRICTED GIFT FOR USE IN EXEMPT PURPOSE

The Historical Society of the Town of Warwick was founded in 1906 by a group of local residents with a vision to preserve and celebrate the history of the Town of Warwick and its people by educating and engaging the public in things of historical relevance. Thanks to the Foundation's recent support, the Society has made great strides in presenting forward-facing public displays and workshops, attracting new audiences to the educational programming and entertaining historic exhibits. The Society took the lead in creating two public exhibits at Mountain Lake Park. The WHS organized participation by the local historical societies and official historians. Programming at the WHS was expanded, and tours and historic walk-abouts resumed after missing two years due to the pandemic.
