Hive Community Circle

Education & outreach: the hive distributed 241 bee boxes throughout the state. The hive partnered with 15 new sites to support the distribution of bee boxes. The hive hosted and co-hosted 13 buzzpak trainings, impacting 358 teens. The hive also hosted 16 requested trainings benefiting 367 community members. The topics of the trainings encompassed the following: healthy relationships, black indigenous people of color (bipoc) trauma informed, interpersonal violence and sexual assault 101, sexual harassment, human trafficking, anti-oppression advocacy and prevention, etc.

The hive supported 35 survivors with emergency and economic justice (eej). Within the support given by eej, 13 survivors received a total of 62 nights of hotel accommodations; the remaining requests were fulfilled for childcare, clothing, groceries, transportation, relocation, transitional housing, and utilities.
