Hmong Mission Society

Section 1: Non-Profit Organization: This Hmong Mission Society shall be organized and operated exclusively for religious, charitable, and educational purposes. As such, it shall not be used for financial gain or profit and does not contemplate the distribution of incomes, profits or dividends to its members. The Society shall be incorporated as a not-for-profit organization under the laws of the United States Internal Revenue Service and established as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501C (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Section 2: Purpose: The HMS shall be: A. Promoting the sharing of the Gospel among Hmong peoples in North America and to the world. B. Sharing information within the LCMS about the Hmong people of North America and Lutheran ministries serving them. C. Gathering and disbursing funds supporting such ministries, including those to meet related human care needs. D. Enhancing opportunities for individual Hmong people to obtain post-high school education in setting
