Mission
Established in 1955, the home builders association of northwest louisiana is a non-profit professional trade association. It is affiliated with the louisiana home builders association and the national association of home builders, and is comprised of local builder and associate members, and is governed by its board of directors. The association serves its members as the leading source of information for legislative and industry affairs, technology, education, products, and services. While strengthening our membership, our goal is to set the standard of the industry and improve the quality of life in our community by offering affordable quality housing and creating opportunities for our members to serve the community through charitable activities.
Programs

Golf tournament: golf outing to promote fellowship and camaraderie between hba members. Attendance was approximately 100 people.
Parade of homes: an event hosted by the hba and open to the public. Showcase of spec and custom home construction and remodeling. Contractors and vendors are available to answer questions and provide information about the houses. Attendance, approximately 3,000 over 4 days.
Continuing education: provide members with continuing education class hours needed to renew their state contractors licenses
