To honor and hold dear those who willingly defend our freedoms, and to serve their families - especially the children - by providing quality, caring and meaningful programs that nurture and enrich their social, emotional, and physical well being.

Heroes Nite Out: The program honors our active duty military members and their spouses from all service branches. More than 400 guests attended the event with dinner, entertainment with keynote speaker, took home gift baskets, getaway packages, gift cards, and the opportunity to hear stories from those who have gone before them.

Troop/Family Morale & Welfare: The program served active duty military serving in all military branches and their spouses. Its purpose is to bolster troop morale and build strong families. 843 iCare Packages filled with travel sized personal hygiene products and 8 to 10 snacks items, baby shower gift basket for 12 new moms, countless baked goods and snacks for pre deployments, homecomings, field training, and welcome gifts for new personnel reporting to a new unit, wine cruise for 50 military spouses for Military Spouse Appreciation Day, Mission SJC Field Trip with lunch for 28 children and 576 Purple Bandannas for San Onofre Elementry Schools Month of the Military Child Purple Up Day, hosted 20 military members for concert at Mission SJC with food and gifts, food for 1/11 Alumni reunion, 1/11 Marine Corps Birthday Ball suppport, and dinner for 1MLG Spouse Etiquette Dinner.

Clothing/Furnishings: 15 Baby Blankets and 34 Ball Gowns

Easter: 1,008 Chocolate Bunnies, 6,000 filled eggs, 144 hard boiled egg for military children. 316 families (household of 4 or more) received grocery gift cards.

Halloween: 1,500 All Treats No Tricks Bags filled with novelty toys and 6pcs of candies per bag (9,000 pcs) with additional 5,910 pcs of candies to support multiple Trick or Treat events onboard MCBCP. 600 cupcakes for San Onofre Schools Fall Festival.

Back to School: 414 backpacks filled with school supplies for 1st - 12nd graders (MCBCP, MCAS Miramar, and CG Sector SD & LA/LB.

Expenses: $5K

Thanksgiving: 323 families received grocery gift cards valued at $25, $75, and $100 each, depending on family size. In addition, supported multiple units with 472 pies for their Thanksgiving dinners.

Expenses: $27K

HA O&A: A patriotic display of 460 3X5 US and Service Flags honoring active-duty military, veterans and first responders. Provided breakfast, lunch and wagon for military participants in the Swallows Day Parade.
