To enhance the quality of life for the citizens of the greater homer area by promoting philanthropic and charitable activities.

City of homer grants program: the city of homer and the homer foundation have an agreement to allocate general operating dollars to area nonprofits through a competetive grants rpocess. This year, 13 organizations received support through this program with grants between 4,500 and 1,000.
Scholarships: 19 scholarships to support area students in their post- secondary education. These scholarships varied between 1,000-7,000.
