Programs

Mobile resource response team is a non-facility community based program providing laundry, showers, food, clothing, and hygiene supplies to individuals experiencing homelessness. Services are provided in a mobile rv unit, mobile laundry trailer, and a mobile shower trailer. These services travel to locations in the community to provide services. Mrrt staff provide navigation services to connect people to services that will move them towards becoming housed.
In january of 2022 homeward bound received a contract to provide a safe parking program for individuals experiencing homelessness and living in their vehicles. Services are provided at various churches in pierce county with a designated number of spots at each church. The safe parking program provides resources to the churches and coordinates access to identified services at each location. Safe parking staff also provide navigation services to connect people to services that will move them towards becoming housed.
