Mission

Honor provides individualized and integrated services to people in need of housing and crisis intervention. Staff are committed to nurturing the self-esteem and dignity of clients through compassion and care. Honor served 94,178 individuals across 24 unique programs in 2024.

Housing services: honor's belief is that everyone deserves a place to call home. Our housing programs are designed to provide stable and supportive environments for individuals and families in need, including permanent supportive housing and emergency housing shelters for men, women, families and youth. 140,171 nourishing meals were served to guests at our shelters. 2,000 meaningful contacts with individuals experiencing street homelessness in orange county, ny. 60 transitions from homeless to housed, through housing first. 100 individuals were enrolled in health homes in orange and sullivan counties.

Youth services: honor provides local youth with the support and care they need. Our youth services encompass various programs designed to empower and uplift young individuals facing challenging circumstances including a friend's house(runaway and homeless youth shelter) and youth outreach. 250 youth 17 and under found safety and respite at a friend's house.
