Mission

Firefighting services, station 70 members respond to calls in designated area and surrounding community. Emergency medical services, station 70 members respond to emergency medical calls as first responders only without transportation abilities in designated area and surrounding community, traffic wrecks and rescue situations. The intent of the hood county volunteer fire department station 70 is to perpetually respond to fire and rescue emergencies within designated response areas and mutual aid requests to protect lives and property. It is also our assumed responsibility to assist our citizens and neighbors in any philanthropic activities, fund raising and preserve the environment through approved contracts within our designated area and any other entity that would make a request. The time spent on these activities are on an as needed or per call basis.
