Hoops Express Inc

The grant is in continued support for growth and expansion of Hoops Express' UTurn Program. As a result of this funding, the program provided mentoring, educational support and community services to an additional 100 Orange County area low-income, high-risk youths and their families. The program now includes not only mentoring and educational support, but also career development workshops, mental health counseling, and recreational activities designed to promote physical health and well-being. These new services have been crucial in addressing the diverse needs of the community, providing comprehensive support for our most vulnerable populations.

The Foundation donation was utilized for continued support of Hoops Express' U-Turn Program. It allowed the organization to provide mentoring, educational support, and community services to an additional 85 Orange County area low-income, high-risk youths and their families. Support such as that from the Foundation will enable the organization to navigate the unprecedented circumstances of 2023, helping our most vulnerable populations.
