Mission
At Hope for China Dogs, we are committed to combating the cruel and inhumane practice of the dog meat trade in China. We believe that every dog deserves to live a life free from pain and suffering, and we are dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating dogs who have been victims of this trade. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for these dogs, promote education and awareness, and advocate for its abolition. We work closely with our partners in China to rescue dogs from slaughterhouses, meat markets & trucks, and other dangerous situations, and bring them to immediate safety in China. From there we address any immediate medical needs, and begin the process of flying them to the US where we find their loving forever homes. Through our work, we save lives, end suffering, and bring happiness to dogs and humans. We ultimately hope to bring an end to the dog meat trade and create a more compassionate world for all dogs and all animals.

March 7, 2024, we paid $8,338 for the transport of 4 dogs to be rescued from China, and all 6 have been successfully adopted into loving and happy families. All dogs are given the necessary medical attention needed before the trip and once they arrive in America. They are well fed, and groomed and loved by foster families until they find their happy forever homes.
July 22, 2024, we paid $8,253 for the transport of 3 dogs to be rescued from China, and all 7 have been successfully adopted into loving and happy families.
