School development program through our school development program, significant progress was made to improve learning environments across haiti. In 2024, construction teams completed new classrooms and critical repairs at several of our schools. At dubuisson christian school, two secondary classrooms and an office were built. In mirebalais, construction began on a beautiful new school building that will serve students from elementary through high school when it opens in fall 2025. Structural repairs were made to school walls and roofs at robert, brajirois, and cite soleil to ensure a safer environment for all students. Haiti operations our dedicated haitian staff faithfully lead the day-to-day operations of our ten christian schools and our orphanage-bringing hope and stability to hundreds of children. Haiti operations supports every in-country expense needed to keep our programs running smoothly, including staff wages, communication, transportation, office needs, and compliance with government requirements. These behind-the-scenes efforts are essential to delivering lasting impact on the ground.

Health care a core component of our child sponsorship ministry is a commitment to ensure each child's health and well-being. In april, every sponsored child received a full medical check-up. Throughout the year, our dedicated nurses-stationed at each of our ten schools-care for students' daily health needs and provide life-saving health education in the classroom. When further care is needed, children have access to local medical clinics. In 2024 alone, our school nurses treated 1,581 children, and many received essential dental and vision care-ensuring they can thrive in both body and spirit. Orphan care ministry our orphan care ministry brings hope and stability to 62 children at the cazeau orphanage in port-au-prince. More than just a shelter, this is a true home-providing nourishing meals, safe housing, clothing, medical care, and most importantly, a loving family environment. The children also receive hands-on training in sewing, baking, gardening, computer skills, and english-equipping them with valuable tools for the future. In 2024, we celebrated a new chapter as 16 young adults who grew up in the orphanage graduated from the promising adult continued education sponsorship (paces) program. These students pursued vocational training in fields such as tailoring, it, auto mechanics, nursing, forklift driving, and culinary arts-stepping into adulthood with confidence, dignity, and purpose. Food & water thanks to generous donors and strong partnerships, all 10 of our schools serve hot, nutritious meals five days a week-providing over 695,000 meals each year to 3,719 children. These daily lunches are transforming lives- boosting students' health, focus, and academic performance. Each school is equipped with a kitchen, clean water access, and essential supplies. In 2024, all schools received new cooking pots and pans, and the hinche school received a new propane stove. To support student health further, we improved clean water access by installing a new cistern at the robert school and a water filtration system at the cazeau school. Daily nourishment and clean water are giving our children the strength to learn, grow, and thrive. Joy box/gift ministry with the help of 39 u.s. Churches and groups, shoebox-sized gifts-filled with small treasures and heartfelt encouragement-brought smiles and hope to children across haiti. At the end of the school year, each sponsored child also receives a 5 gift from their sponsor-a simple yet meaningful way to send love and brighten their summer. Crisis relief in times of crisis, hope for haiti's children remains committed to standing with the most vulnerable. In february, as gang violence forced hundreds of children and their families to flee their homes, we responded swiftly- distributing emergency response food and hygiene kits to more than 400 families. Additionally, we provided 50 displaced families with 500 each to help secure temporary housing and restore stability. Another urgent need arises each summer when school ends and children no longer receive the daily lunch they count on. To bridge this gap, we've offered a summer vacation bible school (vbs) and feeding program for the past three years. Every friday, children gather for bible lessons, a nutritious hot meal, and a take-home bag of rice and beans-bringing both spiritual encouragement and vital food support to their families. Leadership camp and spiritual training in 2024, camp hope welcomed over 200 students to three sessions of our christ-centered leadership and spiritual development camp. Over three and a half days, students enjoyed games, shared meals, and engaged in powerful bible lessons-all while finding refuge from the unrest and violence surrounding their communities. In a truly joyful moment, 39 young people were baptized and boldly declared jesus as the foundation of their faith. Now in its 21st year, camp hope continues to be a place where students from all ten school communities feel safe, loved, and spiritually renewed. This year also marked a meaningful expansion of our spiritual outreach. We hired spiritual directors to teach bible classes in each of our 10 schools-ensuring that faith formation is woven into daily life and learning for every child we serve. And haitian staff while organizing and shipping essential items-such as school supplies, hygiene kits, teaching materials, medical items, and sponsor letter forms-to support children and staff throughout the year. Mission trips while american medical teams were unable to travel to haiti due to ongoing unrest, our dedicated haitian staff stepped up in an incredible way. Nurses, a pharmacist, local doctors, and our staff visited each school to ensure that every sponsored child received their annual medical check-up. Their commitment ensured vital care for the children and meaningful updates for their sponsors. We remain hopeful that mission teams can return once it is safe to do so.
