Mission
Hope for HIEs mission is to improve the quality of life for children and families affected by neonatal and pediatric-acquired hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy HIE through awareness advocacy education research and support.

Research - We advance and partner in research with academia and industry to the incidence and impact of HIE.
We offer comprehensive support through credentialed support staff peer connections and programs and services ensuring no family faces HIE alone. Professional support is available from a certified social worker and a certified child life specialist and grief counselor. Peer support consists of our Peer Support Mentor Program HIE Hospital Ambassadors our SOAR Program for children ages 7 - 17 living with HIE our SUPER SIBS program plus in-person and online meet-ups and events.
Consists of employee compensation and related expenses to support Hope for HIEs program services.
