YOUTH PROGRAMS Total Youth Served in 2024: 188 Hope Meadows is committed to fostering emotional growth, resilience, and healing in youth through equine-assisted psychotherapy and counseling. Our youth programming integrates licensed mental health support with the unique therapeutic connection between horses and humans. We serve children and adolescents navigating trauma, grief, behavioral challenges and more. Key program offerings include: 1. Mind Times with Horses After-school group program focused on social-emotional learning through structured equine-assisted activities. Youth build communication skills, empathy, self-regulation, and positive peer interactions. 2. Individual Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy Licensed clinicians provide trauma-informed one-on-one mental health counseling supported by equine interventions. Sessions address a range of needs including depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral issues, and life transitions. 3. Grief & Loss Groups Equine-assisted group counseling provides youth a safe space to process bereavement and loss. Participants learn healthy coping mechanisms and experience emotional expression through horse-based interactions. 4. Addiction Prevention and Recovery Support Counseling services for youth impacted by substance use or in early recovery. Equine-assisted sessions focus on building resilience, healthy coping, and support systems. 5.
