A weekend retreat for mothers bereaved by infant loss in order to comfort, encourage and engage them with god was held at tejas camp and retreat center in gidding, texas in april. 75 women, from 13 different us states attended. 117 babies in heaven were honored and remembered.

Expenses: $49K

We have three bible studies that were carefully written and was self- published using amazon's createspace to provide accurate, loving, and comforting biblical insight into the issues of infant loss that are experienced by grieving mothers. We use these studies in the spring and fall during our hope group sessions in which we had a total of 205 women in attandance via zoom once per week, for a ten-week session.

Expenses: $856

We launched a podcast in january 2024. In each episode, we navigate the complexities of grief and discover the transformative power of remaining anchored to the hope of jesus christ, as we explore various topics related to sorrow, faith, and finding hope in the midst of heartbreak. New episodes release every other wednesday on apple, spotify, iheart radio, audible, and our website. From 01/01-05/31/2024 we had 1,710 downloads, released 13 episodes, and had listeners in 45 us states and 15 countries. The death of a child is devastating, and we know that along with this immense grief and heartache come the medical bills. Even with insurance, out-of-pocket responsibilities can feel like an added weight on top of an already heavy load. This is where the gift of hope comes in. Through the gift of hope we offer financial grants to those who qualify, in hopes of lifting some of the financial burden. All payments are made directly to hospitals or physicians offices only. This fiscal year we helped 4 families and paid out a total of 22,300.24.
