Hope & healing jax- building a trauma responsive jacksonville grant: ourmission is bringing together those already working in jacksonville to addresspositive & adverse childhood experiences (paces) and trauma to promotehealing and build resilience and networking to strengthen and growexisting efforts. As connectors, we foster collaboration amongorganizations and communities, share events, tools, and resources widely,tell the stories of people making a difference, and support local levelsystems of care work. As advocates, we combine voices and efforts from allsectors to make the biggest difference including: systems change andgovernmental level policy change. As solution engineers, we identify needsand community solutions already at implementation stage and combineviewpoint and experiential diversity.

Recast-building trauma responsive schools grant: through samhsa fundsawarded to partnership for child health, hope street, inc. Dba hope &healing jax has a 5 year plan to facilitate tbri training and implementationcoaching to 15 schools. Participants include all school personnel serving allchildren, especially those who have experienced trauma, with a focus onjacksonville's health zone 1. Trainings are designed for teachers,professionals, and anyone who is interested in learning more about howunresolved trauma and positive and adverse childhood experiences(paces) impact children and what we can all do to foster trust and resiliencethroughout the lifespan. Our goal is to offer teachers/educationprofessionals, behavioral health care and system of care members, andcommunity partners/members the opportunity to gain knowledge abouttrauma, paces, and trust-based relational intervention (tbri) andpositive discipline strategies, supporting them to adopt new attitudes,expectations, behaviors, and policies towards children by recognizing andmeeting children's physical, social, and psychological needs through atrauma-informed tbri lens.
