Mission

Provide equine and small animal therapy to persons who have experienced trauma, disability, emotional or physical abuse. Provide a safe place for them to heal from their trauma.

Programs

Project solomon is a program for military men and women both veterans and active duty who experience post traumatic stress disorder (ptsd), and have other needs such as reducing isolation and providing access to positive life experiences using a peacful farm environment. Veterans, current military service men and women, and family members unite to facilitate healing and strengthen relationships through equine and small animal interaction and experimental activities. Approximately 20 persons were involved with this program in 2024.

Expenses: $28K

Eagala is a program that has sessions facilitated by a horse specialist and mental health specialist. Participants work with one or more horses, using a variety of activities depending on the participants needs. Equine assisted therapy can help individuals, couples, and families with a variety of issues such as anger management, substance abuse, and trauma. Approximately 16 persons used this program in 2024.

Expenses: $19K

Unbridled potential is a free riding program for persons with special needs. This program allows persons to "open up" about the traumas or disabilities they have. This allows the person to begin the healing process. Approximately 10 persons used this program in 2024.
