Hospice of green country is the only hospice in the tulsa area with staff committed to providing education-based expert care and nurturing guidance to patients and their loved ones who are in need of compassionate guardians of comfort and dignity when facing the end-of-life experience.

Courtesy care program:hospice of green country provides courtesy care services to patients and families who do not have health insurance or are under-insured. Services include physical, emotional, and spiritual care provided by physicians, nurses, hospice aides, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers. All medications, medical equipment, supplies, and medical procedures needed to treat the terminal illness and to maintain comfort are provided. Bereavement care is provided to the family and loved ones for at least 13 months after the death. In 2024, 50 hospice of green country patients and families received hospice care through courtesy care services. Program expenses include previously unreleased amounts of donor restricted net assets.

Hospice education:through the hospice education institute, hospice of green country provides hospice education to the community and to medical professionals encouraging ongoing discussions about the end of life. In 2024, hospice of green country reached 890 individuals with end-of-life care planning education at our education events and through community presentations. Program expenses include previously unreleased amounts of donor restricted net assets.

Stay at home services:when a caregiver is not present, patients are often faced with the possibility of leaving their homes and relocating to unfamiliar surroundings. Hospice of green country provides stay at home services to help meet the needs of patients who lack adequate support, including assistance with accessing special services like in-home companion care that supports their safety and quality of life. In 2024, 21 hospice of green country patients received stay at home services. Program expenses include previously unreleased amounts of donor restricted net assets.

Pet peace of mind:hospice of green country assists hospice patients who are unable to maintain appropriate routine health care and nutrition for their animal companions due to mounting medical expenses or caregiver disability through pet peace of mind services. In 2024, pet companions of 19 hospice patients participated in pet peace of mind. Program expenses include previously unreleased amounts of donor restricted net assets.
