Programs

Youth and Community Events: HOHM hosts many events with the purpose of providing a safe space for positive experiences, community, and relationship building for the youth and adults in the trailer parks we serve. Youth nights meet once per week at each of the three locations and served about 100 youth total. We offered a total of six different summer camps to our students, including tent camping, mission trips, and VBS. HOHM also hosted many summer community BBQs, an Easter celebration at each People Plant location, and provided 1-on-1 and group mentoring opportunities.
Public Assistance Programs: Purpose is to alleviate hardships, financial burden, and the hunger crisis experienced within trailer park communities. $1,650 was allocated to pantry food boxes servicing two trailer parks. School supplies aided about 65 students going back to school. Dozens of winter kits were distributed to homes including blankets, window wraps, and other supplies to help low-income families keep their bodies and homes warm during the freezing months. Grocery store gift cards and donated bikes, beds, and furniture were also distributed to families in need.
