Mission
The house of india is dedicated towards creating a greater awareness of india's rich and varied culture in the san diego community. Through active participation in the events organized by the house of pacific relations and by opening the cottage to the general public of san diego and its visitors, the house promotes, educates and showcases india's art, history, music, dance and ethnic food. This allows us to share the joy and spirit of indian traditions in san diego. The house of india also provides an opportunity to interact with other cultures and promotes universal understanding and appreciation.

Cottage hosting - we open the cottage for public viewing and enjoyment every saturday and sunday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. We encourage the general public to visit our cottage and answer their questions on the culture, history, dance, music, art and other interesting aspects of india.
Dandiya under the stars - dandiya is a famous festival in india. We encourage the general public and the indian diaspora of san diego county to visit the cottage and be part of the dandiya dancing. It was a great night of dancing, food and enjoyment.
The year 2024 was a significantly remarkable year for the house of india and we were able to participate in all the planned activities. Ethnic food fair lawn program at balboa ethnic food fair international yoga day dandiya under the stars interational christmas festival
