HBC's mission is to build men of chararcter through music. The organization provides education in choral music and performance opportunities throughout the City of Houston and beyond.

This season, the organization provided performing opportunities on tour between New Orleans, LA and Birmingham, AL. A total of 40 boys and 8 adults travelled and performed free concerts at public venues including assisted living centers.

With arts education becoming less available in schools, the organization partnered with ArtsConnect Houston and launched "HBC in Schools" to offer arts education to students in schools where fine arts programs may habe bee reduced, discontinued, or newly introduced.
