Houston dressage society is dedicated to furthering the art of dressage through the promotion of dressage training and education, and by rewarding excellence in the art of dressage through competition.

Membership: hds offers access to regional and national organizations, information, newsletters, clinics, symposia and other educational programs. Hds membership was unchanged in 2023, staying at approximately 300.the annual bushager grant was fully funded again in 2023.
Education: hds hosts clinics and symposia featuring national and international top trainers and riders; hds contributes to educational opportunities for members and local riders and contributes to other regional and national dressage competitions,hds recognizes local schooling competitions and hosts the local schooling show championship competition.
