Mission
The humane society of warren county is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate care to abandoned, abused, homeless and neglected animals in our community. We aim to educate pet owners on the importance of vaccinations and population control and to place adoptable pets in loving homes.
Programs

Animal care - every pet that comes into the hswc receives basic medial and behavioral evaluations. Each pet is provided with age appropriate vaccinations, microchips, dewormer, combo test and is spayed or neutered. Many animals require additional medical or behavioral attention, which is provided as needed.
Hands in paw program - the hand in paw program is designed to help people and pets in crisis. Hswc offers a free pet food bank which gave away 10,725 pounds of food in 2022. As welll as $4,382 paid to cover veterinary emergencies for owned pets.
